I was born and raised in Doncaster South Yorkshire in the United Kingdom where I still reside. After leaving school I worked in the offices of a local colliery until a serious car accident left me disabled. After a long period of recovery I was well enough to attend college in Sheffield where I was a full time Student and chairman of the Students Union I qualified after two years with a B/TEC Nat Dip in photography. I started my own photographic business specialising in portraits and wedding photography. Shortly after I went back to college part time and qualified as a lecturer. I then lectured at Sheffield University as well as in various colleges in the South Yorkshire area. Today I have moved more into the areas of Landscape and ‘In concert’ photography and I have had many images published in various magazines including Living North magazine I have also had several of my images used for posters including a recent poster for Steve Tilston’s world tour. I work closely with my good friend the legendary Jonathan Kelly of ‘Cursed Anna’ fame and I run his web site and fan club. I also specialise in graphics and web site design and I work closely with Rosy Greaves of Frazzled Cat Productions who is a very talented humorous illustrator I handle the graphics side of her business producing book covers greetings cards and publicity material for her, amongst the jobs I have completed for her is the logo for the British Association Of Woman Police. When I’m not working my hobbies are photography (busman’s holiday) quiz’s, walking and music.
